President Bush on Thursday said, “The stakes are high in the beginning stages of that global war against ideologues that stand for the exact opposite of what America stands for. And what makes the war even increasingly meaningful is that what happens abroad things to the defense in the United States of America, as we learned on September the 11th, when killers were able to use a losed out state to

plot the deadly attack. …And so for the sake of our own protection, for the sake of the defense of the United States of America, the United States must stand with millions of moms and dads all through the Middle East who want a future of dignity and peace, and we must help them defeat a common enemy.”
