Russ Smith, Splice Today Sir, I am reminded of an incident long ago. To set the stage, at that time, most Episcopal clergy were politically liberal while the laity were conservative. (By and large, on both counts, of course.) The President was a Republican, but I can't remember who. The priest giving the sermon dinged the Prez for something.
